I say funny things

One day while we were all seated in the car on the way to do some Christmas shopping, Caleb started to cry.
Chloe: Why cry? Why cry?
Mummy: Because Caleb is sleepy and he wants to take a nap.

I was contented with that answer and quietly continued to enjoy looking out of the window. Then Caleb started to cry again.
Chloe: A-gain? A-gain?
Everyone started laughing and Caleb stopped crying as he got distracted by all that laughter.

A couple of minutes later, Caleb started fussing and crying because he wasn't comfortable and couldn't fall asleep.
Chloe: A-gain? Cry again?

Everyone started laughing again. This went on for a few cycles till Caleb finally slept and stayed quiet.
